I enjoy your illustrations, and your writing. In January of this year you commented on my blog and I've just now come back to it. What you shared about your husband deeply touched. I think those people who wish they could have been there more for their loved ones are the people who were very much there for them. If that makes any sense, but yes, I wish I could learn to cherish my time with those around much more than I seem to.
This reminds me of a hand-carved rubberstamp image received many, many years ago, from a woman on the west coast I believe. The title was "What Boys Like" and the illustrated answers were: tits - ass - fast cars. I can't seem to find the hot wheels in this piece! :D

Peaceful looking
Quirky and nice colour choice. Love it.
Can't quite decide whether I prefer your writing or your illustrations.
This one is especially good.
nice... all my [apartment] neighbors are surly :(
montana sounds enticing....
Lenten. Adventuresome. Porphyry pure.
I want to be the sail - she's purple :) Nice departure from the norm.
Say, did you see your blog featured as the link of the day over at Dr. John's?
Striking. Wonderful.

Reminds me of a wise woman sailing with the light of the inner eye, and of those standing on the shore of materiality, watching…
The daily practice
Of throwing away my-self
In so far as man.
I think I get it. And it is peaceful, and good.
