The coiled antlers adorning the regal heads of these cardboard cutouts (Cervidae papyrae profunda or Cervidae papyrae dura) are very similar, but no two are ever identical.

Great work you have here, very expressive one!

The antlers are like a .. journey. And i love that deep blue.
No, they are not the same...one is a 12 point, one is a 4 point and the other is a 6 point...he he he.
Their description is very official sounding...for cutouts. ha ha
Very well done.
Of course there are only a few who can relate to the genus of this particular species. I, of course, being one of them ;)
Their antler displays resemble candelabras. I'd say it's time for a celebration! Well done Ms. Cat!
"Similar, but NOT matching", was the phrase we often got from Hugh Downs in the early days of CONCENTRATION on TV.
So true. I am digging those antlers!
great style… and whimsical quality… i'm glad i clicked and saw the whole image…
thanks for the visit and kind words…
The names have been changed to protect the 'clever."
I'm getting a kick out of the different monikers you've chosen here and there. You're killin' me!
:D
What a great holiday card cover this would make. Great job!
Nice work! Thank you to visit my blog. x
Obviously, these reindeer have been to the salon. Wonderful! Love the curly-cues! And I got a kick out of their alien-esque eyes. :D
True and beautiful! I enjoyed the diamond story too :)
Delightful!
And true: I understand that no two deer have antlers shaped exactly the same. Unfortunately, I think that is one of the reasons that hunters like to hang deer heads of their walls.
Beautiful piece, love the color and simplicity.
I'm glad you finally saw white raven today. I think of you every time I paint one, Felis :)
We are relieved to hear it. Beautiful creatures.
I love your pictures. They are precious. Congratulations on your creativity and artistic work. This drawing me to keep the place in the blog, with a link to your blog.
Merry Christmas with peace and color

There's a giveaway happening at my place...come on over!
Beautiful. They look like they might be related to Irish Elk, because of the giant elaborate antlers, and the devilish look in their eyes.
So true - beautiful seasonal work
Nicely done, Cat.
You know, there's something very celestial and extra terrestrial about these reindeer!
