Nook and Cranny

Nook and Cranny hid for hours,
tucked away between the folds
of denim jeans and wooley sweaters,
warmed by love and wonders told:
dusty boxes, balls of string,
and waiting laps that never scold.

I can imagine nearly falling off to sleep, and those devilish little red kittens beginning their night's fun.

I like the purple dresser, and the knobs, and I love kittens and cats, red or any other description.

Sweet poem.
