diffrent style. 'What do you use to create your illo. I like your style...
nice one, but.... how do you get up those mountains? :)
¡Qué preciosa ilustración! ¡El árbol en la cima está genial!
I use PaintShop Pro. I draw pretty much free-hand, except I use some of their preshapes, sometimes. On this, I did use a snapline kind of tool for the windows on the "high-rises" because I can't draw a straight line to save my life!
lol. i haven't figured out how to get to the top yet. Maybe I should draw some very large birds...
Thank you very much Catnapping!
this is so nice to look out. the colors are great and different and beautiful style.
OHHHH I LOVE THIS ONE :) is very cuteeeeee and my favourite congratulations :D
Love the idea. Love the text. Great stuff!
No, no, no, no ... you are making me want to be there ... I like your remotely remote remoteness in your illustration! It would be better if I couldn't see the other hill :)
think of it as a berm...remote landscaping. ;)
Excellent idea! No, no no no there you go again ....
I'd love to see this with animated clouds and atari style 'music.' I like the nostalgic feel to this...a happy piece :)
Very cute, has kind of a city mouse/country mouse feel to it. You could live on one hill, vacation on the other!
Great textures going on and wonderful mountains.
Great style. It reminds of one of the early Mario Brothers games.
That should be be a wonderful world !
What a wonderful image. I like the style, the colors and the feel.By the way:I've just been tagged and I'm tagged you next (hope you don't mind) ... TAG, YOU'RE IT! You have to post 20 random facts about yourself on your blog and then tag as many people as many minutes as it took for you to finish your list. Have fun!
Only 1 tree??? ;-)
It sounds wonderful, and you've illustrated it perfectly! The green is so lush...I love it. Will you allow friendly visitors?
Hoooooooo my, I love that!
It's illustrations like this that tells the world that one needn't be lonely when one is alone. Now that's a place I wouldn't mind being alone in.
This is neat, almost looks 3D. I wanted to thank you for your comment on my remote contribution. I loved the picture you attached to it. I stopped briefly at the Badlands in South Dakota back in 1976. It was late afternoon after a thunderstorm, and they were awesome.
wow..great concept...u are good....very smart as i can see...too... i love your art..:Dand poems too
Loove those cotton clouds!great electric blue sky, love it!Nice work.
This is sooo cute!! I love the concept!
I like it! Simple life seems to be hard to get nowdays...Anyway thanks for visiting my blog
this is fabulous...i am really enjoying looking at your work
Oh your idea is so lovely...Simple yet beautiful...
Until Christmas, when everyone in the city came up the hill to get the lonely tree at the same time. This caused the hill to collapse, killing everyone. The city became ruins, and eventually all kinds of plant life- not lonely any more- took it over.
omg, the humanity! who will feed the cats?
I love those mountains! and clouds!! Amazing stuff! :)
I want to live under the one lovely tree.Love all of your illo, they make me smile. Thanks for visiting my blog, I appreciate it.
LoL! I like the buildings slanted oin the hill and the green textures. Great illo!
Very nice illustration! Love the perspective.
Don't want to be there any more because of Tony. Your excellent cat from the Cat Slave Intelligence Service will help the others ... *slashing!*
nice drawing but is it not a bit difficult going to that mountain??, kisses.
Very nice Cat. You know how I'm a stickler for details. My favorite part of that drawing? It's all good but believe it or not, the slight shadows of the two trees on the side of the bigger mountain really caught my eye. I appreciate that attention to detail. Shadowing always adds depth and dimension. Love it. - ski
Very nice illo!, I lioke the colors and texture. Good work :D
Thank you for commenting on my work at flickr. I love your illos!
this is wonderful! and there's so much dimension in the piece, it coul dalmost be real. I wished it was, great stuff!
reminds me of that tanks game.. where ya had to adjust speed and angle to hit the other tank.. ironic really considering the theme of the picture and poem.
seems very different from your previous works. I like the color and texture, and the very interesting curvy mountain xD
Very clever!I like the little buildings on the hilltop and the ones at the side. Precious!
WOWWWwww!Ohhhh Excellent!!I want to live there.
I'd prefer to live on the right hill. Keep up the great work.
i love your illustration, style, colors and graphic composition.thanks for visiting my blog :)
aahhh, to be sitting under that lone tree, away from all the madness.nice colors and textures.
I love the idea and the text.wynlen
Yes, remote can connote good things at times. Well done.
Sounds like heaven... can I build my house next to that little tree? :-)
What a great illo! I love the houses on the side of the hill. OOO, Scary place to live. How do you keep the teacups in the cupboard?love
very nice. i like the way you placed the buildings and trees on the hill (a very different way of doing things.) your poem has a child-like (meaning the simplicity and carefree thought) quality which is also reflected in the style you chose to illustrate. wonderful way to bring the ideas together.
Great interpretaion of the theme. Although I wouldn't live under the tree 'cause of the midges, them buggers bite y'know.
Can't believe I missed this one last week. Perfect!
