Wonderful magic! I feel as if I've time traveled and landed in a fairy tale...wondering who's in that tower. I love the feeling of quiet achieved in this simple composition.

A bird's home is it's castle! There is a wonderful symmetry to this picture - an excellent composition indeed.
I sketched this out with a pen on copy paper, scanned it, and then used my Paintshop Pro to fill it with colour, and messed around to produce darker areas and texture.

I love birds. When I go outside and hear the birds they always make me feel good...safe. Like everything is right with the world.
The shadow cast by the castle gives your illo a three dimensional feel to it. I love how you do that.

There is a sense of magic in these birds. I like your innocent perspective.
Love your stuff. And, I'm glad the birds are safe. I lost a stellar jay last week to a marauding cat. It was tragic.
