like the way the orange compliments the other colors.
Yes, absolutely - the colors are perfect. This, of course, would make a lovely Christmas card. So, when are you going to start marketing your work again?
cute!!
I like the Christmas Card idea of Tenaciousk's! Beautiful image, has the glowing warmth this month should!
Christmas? Cards? Is there still time to shop? Is there anything left to buy? Yikes! :O
Wonderful--as usual.
she made her nest that yearat the grocery storethere were persimmons aplentyand parsley galore
Thank you, guys! I'm really happy with the colours. It would be a hoot to make cards of these.I hope to make one of these for each of the Twelve Days of Christmas. The captions will all be in "American Sentences" alá Alan Ginsberg, who coined the term, referring to 17-syllable American Haiku in-full-sentences. And I really want to continue the series using rich colours, with hopefully, a traditional painterly feel.
hehehe, Joe. The original haiku was:A grocery partridgenestled among the bartletsmy first Christmas Day.But I couldn't make a decent grocery background without making the image too busy. So I changed the haiku.

I'm going to enjoy this series! Great beginning.I came by to thank you for your comment of several weeks ago - I've really been behind, and it#s been difficult to get back writing stories, but slowly and surely, it's working. Hope you'll have time to stop by again soon.
I am enchanted as usual, with your art, and your poetry. It brings happiness and joy to the reader :)
