Thises and Thats

This is just something I've never uploaded before but is part of the things I mess with.

I've been trying to find a sketch I made of a ether-friend holding her cat. It was one of those special, spontaneous things that sort of falls from your fingers into the ink, and I can't find it anywhere. My guess is that I removed it from the tablet...and put it in a safe place. aaaaaaaargh.

So I've decided to stop looking, and make another. I will be looking at images of her beautiful cat, and rereading her emails...to put myself back in touch with that moment that lent itself to the first sketch.

This is fabulous. As for the misplaced work, however, I'll say this much - Irish Whiskey is an excellent tracking aid. You either remember where you put it - or you won't care! The ying, the yang, the beat goes on! :D

That Mick is full of answers! I love this...the checkered cloth and the three feathered friends all kept in soft tones. Wonderful!
I hope you find the sketch because I'd like to see it done.

I've tagged you for the love and peace meme. Details on my blog ;)

I like it. Hope you find the one you are looking for, or can at least recapture the spirit of the original.

BTW, I really enjoyed your Valentine's Day poem on DawnCoyote's BOTF thread.

I hope those birds aren't on the table for your friend's cat! I like what you mess with :)

I am fascinated how memory may be there, but the mood has escaped...and we must try to recreate the smell, the taste, the chemistry, and the look...all from the few tatters of memorabilila we have had the forethought to save...

I find myself upset when I can’t find something that I know I have and want to use. Then I remember that T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) lost the almost completed, 2000 page manuscript of his book “The Seven Pillars of Wisdom” and then rewrote the whole thing.
