Would you mind?

I skipped over from Andrea's, probably because the "cat" word caught me. And here I find not only cats, but poetry, profound insights and a determination to restore balance. Thankyou.

Poetry & cats -- it's a natural congruence.

Thanks for letting me post this!

Very nice piece. Thanks for visiting my blog.

I took a mini-roadtrip to Missoula last May and absolutely loved it there. Who would have though such a cute little town would be stuck out in the middle-of-nowhere Montana? (Best find - "Chocolat" gourmet chocolates. Amazing!)

I hope things will be good for you back at home. Merry Christmas.

Thank you, all. I hope everyone's holy days are coming along nicely, and that everyone we love is safe and warm.

Joji: There's a software program called Animation Shop 3. Essentially, what I did was to make the original image, and then copy it twice. I then used my PSP program to sprinkle "snow" on each copy by expanding the tip to the full 500px, and putting it on the lowest density. One click on each copy and voila - itty bitty white dots. 3 images, identical except for the placement of the white dots...makes it look like snow, sorta. The animation software connects the 3 images, and "plays" them over and over.

Jasc is the company, but I think Corel might also make it nowadays.

Apparently I am a bit late to this party...but I would like to state that if you are working as an RN your talents are underutilized...nice work...as for whatever unfortunate circumstances you find yourself...keep you chin up!

i can hear the jingle bells as the snow falls. How festive!

Marvellous! That's great!

Happy New Year to you!

This is serene. I wonder what percentage of that falling white stuff is actually bird crap (?). That reminds me, I've gotta stop eating bird-seed so late at night. :P

PS: Stop hoarding all of that snow out west! I think Ohio is the only friggin' state in the Union not getting any. Oh wait, maybe that's just Global Warming. In that case; are you interested in any future beach front properties close to Lake Erie?

best to you for the upcoming year

woah! my apologies to all whose nicks turned "anonymous." when i was FORCED to switch to blogger2 it really screwed things up around here, and i only just noticed the names that are missing from this thread. i thought that glitch only hurt entries posted closer in time to the switch...guess not.

i think blogger should have waited till blogger2 was out of beta, before forcing some of us to switch.
